Sightseeing in Bangui
There are a handful of sights to see in Bangui. The Museum of Boganda is a well-organized place that has a large array of artefacts and local musical instruments, which you are allowed to try out. The museum also displays pygmy cultural artefacts. The entrance charge is US$1, which comes inclusive of a guide.
The Centre Artisanal displays artistic works of local artists. On display are carvings, bracelets, leather goods, paintings and batiks, just to name a few. The Perroni Gallery, though expensive, is worth taking a look at. Mr. Perroni, originally from Martinique, is the man supporting most of the artists in the Central African Republic today.
